Sevan Bıçakçı’s journey as a craftsman began at the young age of 12 with an apprenticeship at Istanbul's historic Grand Bazaar and culminated in the launch of his eponymous brand in 2002. He most recently received the Turkish Presidency's Grand Award for Culture and Art in the field of crafts in 2022.
